Here at New Lease on Life, we love having volunteers of all ages care for the animals! However, there are some basic requirements, and preferences, that we have. Volunteers must be 18 years or older, and those younger than that must be accompanied by an adult in order to volunteer. Since we clean with bleach, it is preferred that you wear old clothes and rubber gloves. When we clean our floors, it can get pretty slippery. If you have them, please wear non-slip shoes to avoid any falls. Anyone with long hair should keep it pulled back, as some animals may pull on it. Most of our animals have claws, so it is preferred that you wear long sleeves and long pants to avoid any harmful scratches.
